Crash within Second

Just few hours ago I nearly crashed with a Taxi at speed of 90km. If this is happened, I think I can't further share here. Tonight I drove over Sau Mau Ping Road and one Taxi suddenly changed to my lane. At that moment, my car was high speed and close to the taxi. My immediate reaction was turning aside to avoid the crash. Now thinking back my last decision, this is dammit silly and danger. What happen if another car in opposite lane? I was no sense to slow down or hard brake, and totally whelming in speeding, CRAZY!!

Motor World Macau

First car exhibition at the newly launched Venetian Macao Convention and Exhibition Center. Heard that the organizer had considered holding at Hong Kong, but in terms of cost and environment, Macau is still the favor. This is my first visit to Venetian Macao. I haven't been to Las Vegas, but I'm now understand what is the charm. There gives me a feeling is luxury, wide and relax, so wanna stay there overnight.

This exhibition is little bit out of my expectation, the field is small. Also might be my visit time is early morning, just a few people there, but also allow me to "test drive" and take photo more easily. This exhibition selling points is featured luxury and super cars, including popular brand likes Ferrari, Audi, Porsche, however not every brands are showing their top products. Okay, there is still a few goods can be found.

Audi R8
The focus there, also the only booth has some car model. In Hong Kong, R8 is still not on the road yet.



Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG
This one is very common in Hong Kong. Nothing special, but definitely the best and useful one for driving in Hong Kong especially you are RICH.



Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X
Latest Evolution, is it cool? To be honest, his outlook is ugly, definitely not my cup of tea.



Bugatti Veyron 16.4
I'm not familiar to Bugatti. Even so by just looking at it, you will not against his super car position.

Should I introduce this super car? I'm disappointed. Ferrari is just only showing the F430 and 612.

Stop the idling vehicle

Yesterday our HK government announced a very creative idea to fight the air pollution problem. Their plan is fines the idling vehicle driver. Certainly impacted many drivers especially those commerical transport vehicle. In my viewpoint, I don't mind to stop the engine when stopped for waiting a couple minutes. I'm not sure how the air quality can be improved by my little contribution, but definitely it can save my dammit expensive petrol. From the air pollution standpoint, does the idle viehicle stopped aside the road is the main cause out of those increasingly car volume. I rather HK government provides more favor to speed up replacing outdated vehicle with low exhaust vehicle. As the car pollution is coming from his exhaust, why not consider the solution such as let more low exhaust vehicle running on the road? So should I change my Pug to Prius to support the environmental?
