My first hiking pole

This is my first hiking pole, LekiSport product, an essential tool for a hiking enthusiast. Features include suspension, rock solid pole, light weight, etc. In the past, I never believe such tool is helpful for a youth like me . However after a trial using a friend pole, it is amazing handy. Especially on some rough slope, it can save your feet burden and help your body balancing. While you are challenging your limit, it may able to save your life, so don't try to look down such simple tool.

Marathon 2008

Coming Marathon 2008 will have some new arrangement for 10km match. 10km will have new route which changed from crossing the harbor channel and ended at Wan Chai to running on Island Eastern Corridor and ended at Victoria Park. I admit new arrangement is great and can relax sky high number of participants. However the new route is not attractive to me. I still miss the harbor channel and "offical" end point, might consider 20km this year as well as treat as a new challenge for myself. Principal for a gym player, always set a new target in order to move up your limit.

I started the practice today, 10km finished within an hour and surprised don't have any short of breath. The summer swimming practice was helped a lot, however the knee and joint is still week and not enough to taking 20km challenge. This is my current bottleneck will need to break shortly.

Car maintenance history

Have you kept a record of your lovely car maintenance history? Yes, I had. This is my one since my first drive and now is 2nd anniversary. A history can give yourself a more concrete idea of your car status. Nevertheless it also can remain you to take care in drive. $$$$$$$

Nightfall hike at Lion Rock

In Autumn, hike is always be my favorite activity. This time the chosen hiking route is famous Lion Rock. We start at noon and end up at night. Watched a wonderful sunset at peak and enjoyed an exciting return trip(dark + cold + hungry + tired).

YouTube T-shirt and Phone Rope

Nice souvenir from a YouTube booth, a T-shirt and phone rope. This souvenir is not totally free. You will need to spend a little leisure time to get passing three small games and got a chop to finish the souvenir coupon. I and my colleague had spent few minutes to finish all games. This booth was celebrating Hong Kong YouTube first-day launch.

Valvoline VR1 review

This is my first time switches to an engine oil other than Mobil 01. Recently read some forum comment and there are many positive response for Valvoline engine oil, especially the VR1. So I tried in last regular engine oil change. My pug needs 4.5 lite, totally cost $410 which is slightly expensive than Mobil. Overall performance is satisfy, although there is no magic happened, I still feel some smoother response at high rpm, more km given when at the same rpm.

Car wash

Since the month ago car wax and several weekend rain, my lazy letting my pug decorated with much of dust. Ha, so decided goto manual car wash in today sunny morning, but dammit thing was happened. My car park's water supply was broken. And the most important is that I discovered this fact so late, after fully sprayed the wheel cleanser on 4 wheels, DAMMIT! So finally drove my "wet" pug to nearest Shell station for washing service. This is my first time washing the car in gas station. However the service quality is unbeatable, especially the cleaner attitude and the service quality. They also advice that I can provide my own cleanser if preferring. For just only $50, highly recommend Tseung Kwan O Shell gas station for everyone. Oh, forgot to mention that the computer car wash will be launched very soon and no more manual service later on.

Mazda Develops a World-First Catalyst for Autos Using Nanotechnology

On Monday Mazda was announced that developed the world first car catalyst using nano-technology. It claimed that reduced the use of platinum and palladium by 70% or more. Honestly I'm no idea any impact on catalyst pricing and I'm not the fans of catalyst modification (I'm environmentalist ). However the platinum stock price was dropped rapidly after such announcement.

New Phone Holder

Got a new phone holder for my car. Old one is crappy, the foot plastic cupule even cannot stick on window properly. Ridiculously this is the fundamental feature so got a new one at Apliu Street, cost me HK$38.
